# Market Data

> Charts, orderbook, and price tickers in the Tangerine trading interface

## Price Chart

The main trading view includes a full-featured **price chart** powered by TradingView. You can:

* Switch between candlestick, bar, and line chart types
* Change the time interval (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D, 1W)
* Add technical indicators (MA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, and more)
* Draw trend lines, support/resistance levels, and annotations

The chart shows the mark price feed from the selected platform (not spot price).

## Order Book

The order book panel shows live bids and asks for the selected market on the currently active platform.

* **Bids** (green) — buy orders resting below market price
* **Asks** (red) — sell orders resting above market price
* **Spread** — shown between the best bid and ask

Clicking a price in the order book prefills the limit price in the trade panel.

## Price Tickers

The top bar of the trading interface shows key market stats for the selected market:

| Stat          | Description                                        |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Mark Price    | Current mark price (used for PnL and liquidations) |
| Index Price   | Spot reference price                               |
| 24h Change    | Price change % over the last 24 hours              |
| 24h Volume    | Total notional volume in the last 24 hours         |
| Open Interest | Total open interest across all positions           |
| Funding Rate  | Current 8h funding rate for this market            |
| Next Funding  | Time until the next funding settlement             |

## Platform-Specific Data

All market data shown in the trading interface reflects the **currently selected platform**. If you switch platforms, the chart, order book, and tickers update to show data from the new platform.

This means you might see different prices, spreads, and funding rates for the same market on different platforms — which is expected and often the source of arbitrage opportunities.
