# EdgeX Overview

## What is EdgeX?

EdgeX is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange with a focus on high-performance order execution. It's currently in the process of being integrated into Tangerine — account registration is available now, and full trading functionality is coming in a future release.

## Register Your Account

You can register your EdgeX account through Tangerine's referral link now to reserve your spot before trading goes live.

1. Open the **Platforms** panel in Tangerine
2. Select **EdgeX**
3. Click **Register Account**
4. Complete the registration via Tangerine's referral link

Registering early may qualify you for launch incentives or fee discounts when EdgeX trading opens on Tangerine.

## What's Coming

When the full EdgeX integration launches, you'll be able to:

* Deposit directly from Tangerine to EdgeX
* Trade all EdgeX perpetual markets from the unified Tangerine interface
* View EdgeX positions and balances in the Portfolio panel
* Compare EdgeX funding rates on the Funding Rates page
