Hyperliquid

The largest perp DEX by volume. Runs on HyperEVM, a purpose-built L1 for trading. Tangerine treats Hyperliquid as the primary platform — it has the deepest liquidity, lowest latency, and widest market selection. Hyperliquid Overview →

Aster

A multi-chain perp DEX with strong support for token variety. Aster accepts native ETH and BNB deposits in addition to USDC, making it a good choice if you already hold ETH or BNB on-chain. Aster Overview →

Lighter

An ultra-low-latency perp DEX built on zkSync. Uses a Schnorr signature scheme for trading keys — the setup is slightly more involved, but the result is fast, gas-efficient execution. Lighter Overview →

EdgeX

EdgeX is an upcoming platform integration. You can register your account now via Tangerine’s referral link to reserve your spot. Trading functionality will be added in a future release. EdgeX Overview →

Which platform should I use?

Start with Hyperliquid unless you have a specific reason to use another platform. It has the best liquidity and the most straightforward onboarding. Consider Aster if you want to deposit native ETH or BNB, or if you need a market that’s not listed on Hyperliquid. Consider Lighter if you’re a high-frequency trader who values ultra-low latency execution.
